Guest guest
Hi Nicole, I can give you some info on Tershula. Read my other post to Avtar for more. Its AKA 'Thunderbolt of Shiva', its very unlike any of the other meditations that I've done, you actually visualize a thunderbolt. Roughly this is what you do: 1. Sitting in easy pose or a chair. 2. Hold your hands up in front of your heart center at an angle, like reading a book, right hand over left, so that the fingertips overlap the other fingertips (the diagram is much more helpful) 3. Eyes closed 4. Take a deep inhale, and hold the breath while silently chanting Wahe Guru. Chant as long as you can hold your breath (go easy at first, work into it) 5. As you exhale visualize white lite shooting out of your fingertips, like 'thunderbolts' 6. When all of your breath has been pushed out, squeeze muhlabhand and once aganin repeat Wahe Guru mantra silently as long as you can maintain breath held out and muhlabhand (go easy here initially too, or you will be gasping for air) 7. Inhale and repeat sequence. Start at 3-11 minutes. BTW, I may have made a couple of errors on the directions, I'll check my directions at home and correct if I missed something. Have fun!
