Guest guest Posted May 5, 2002 Report Share Posted May 5, 2002 RE: Gong A couple of years Gurucharan Singh taught a course in Millis, MA at the ashram on the gong and gave us a class handout that is 10-12 pages long. it was my understanding that it was a summary of the techniques that Yogi Bhajan spoke of in the video that he made about playing the gong. I purchased a gong. The gong I purchased was a 28" Paiste. With the stand and mallet it was somewhere between $750 and $1000. I worked directly with Paiste. They referred me to the "gong man" who has all the gongs, is a musician, and is very knowledgeable. Call them and get his number. It is a large expenditure. Do research before you spend.
