Guest guest
I have been doing the plow prose as described on the KY training site (as an addendum to the spinal flexibility set). And I love it! I feel so good after doing it. But I have two questions. I had found another on-line web site (forget the name but he was based in AZ) and he shows the plow prose with the hands pushing/supporting the back (at the part when the legs are over the head, not straight up) instead of laying flat on the floor. Does it matter? Also, I've been noticing that when I'm in both positions (legs straight up and legs over the head with toes on floor) that I'm feeling a lot of pressure in neck/head. It's most noticable when my legs are straight up and usually only on the inhale. On exhaling, the pressure subsides - most of the pressure is the blood in the veins in my neck. I didn't notice it that much when I started doing this exercise. But the pressure appears to be increasing. Is there a reason for this? Does it matter how far off the ground the back is during this exercise? My back is usually off the floor up to tops of my shoulder blades. But I notice that the pressure isn't as great if I lower my back to even the middle of my should blades. Thanks! Christa
