Guest guest
This dish really satisfies that sweet tooth but has no added sweetener. Spring Root Bake (from http://www.blessbless.com/, Harisimran Kaur's site) Daikon Radish, 6 inches, round cuts Carrots, 2, diagonal cuts Sweet potato, medium, cubed Spring onions, 2, quartered, include the stems Beet, peeled, cubed Clove garlic, mashed Olive oil Oregano flakes, giant pinch Parsley flakes, medium pinch Bragg's Aminos*, big squirt Sea salt pinch Get a Dutch oven (beautifully inexpensive at discount clothing store like Marshall's or Ross's.) Wash and dry and coat the bottom with ¼ inch olive oil, add all the roots and toss so that this colorful array is lightly dressed in oil. Add the Bragg's, the sea salt and cover with a blanket of the flaky herbs. Cover and bake for 25 minutes. Check it and keep baking until the roots are soft to your liking. It's like a sauna inside the Dutch oven, so all the juices/energies are being expressed. Serve hot and saucy with a salad like Arugala Cool next to it. Very sexy. Bless!
