Hi,I am looking for a way to reduce pain in my lower back.

I also want to increase circulation there.

Movement causes pain and muscle spasms.I walk with a cane for only

10 minutes before the spasms make me sit or lie down.

I am new to Kndalini yoga ,But have been meditating for a few months.

Any sugestions would be helpful.

Thanks and blessings,John Richards.

Hey John,

If this pain is chronic and not due to some specific injury, you have to

understand the emotional/mental aspect. Twenty four years ago when I

was doing Bio-energetic Gestalt, I remember complaining to my therapist at the

end of my hour that my back was hurting and she said (jokingly, I

think) "oh, that's another year of sessions". I was carrying the weight of the

world on my young back and needed to let it carry itself. Trust in

self and feeling connected on a pranic level are very healing. Feeling emotional

support is big in this. Having play and lightness.

Ten years ago I was doing acupuncture on a weekly basis as a tune up but to

also work on my lower back. It didn't really help with my back.

The one thing that gave me solid results was the Arise and Shine cleanse

(www.ariseandshine.com). It worked is all I can say. Many nagging pains

disappeared as my body let go of acidic toxins, mucous, etc.. Go to the site and

download the brochure. The other thing that rocks is a three day

watermelon fast.

Email me if you have any questions. Eleven is better for men, actually....three

days for women. At the end of my Yoga when I chant powerfully I

can often release pain and tightness in my lower back.
