Guest guest
Good Morning Christa, I will comment on the lower back killer. I would suggest using a pillow, towel or something other than your hands to create the pelvic tilt in order to maintain the integrity of the posture. Those double legs lifts, you gotta be careful with. The moment your back hurts.....stop and reset your pelvis/lower-back before continuing. Remembering to "push" the lower back into the floor really helps. Sat Nam, Dharam P.S. Guest guest
Thanks for the reply Dharam. I never even thought about a pillow, but that would work as well. I'll try that the next time. And I do stop when my back starts hurting. (I can't even do one set without back support) I had forgotten to ask something in my original post. I notice that when I do the fourth exercise (holding one leg to chest and lifting the other one), I get tingling sensations on the edge of my chin and in my hands (predominantly in my palms). I know when you hyperventilate, you get a numbing/tingling sensation in your mouth/lips. I never had any sensations there, but I thought that it may be caused by my breathing incorrectly. I have been going as fast as I can when I do these (which isn't very fast) and I inhale when I left the leg and exhale when I lower it. I have caught my breathing off/overlapping the lifting/lowering of the leg sometimes, but I correct it as soon as I realize it. Could that be why I'm getting the tingling sensations? It only occurs in that one set. And it subsides when I go on to the next exercise. Thanks again for the feedback. Christa
