Guest guest
Sat Nam everyone! Awhile back I had posted a question regarding seeing colors while meditating. It was a relief to hear many others having similar experiences. Last night, I had a slightly different experience. I was doing a shoulder stand for 2 minutes and had my eyes open during the exercise. Suddenly I noticed a sky blue color along the outside of my left leg. It was about 3-4 inches wide. (It was a beautiful color blue) But I can't figure out where it came from. Nothing in the room was blue. The walls are an off white and I was wearing light grey sweatpants. I checked for any type of reflection off of the glass door, but couldn't find anything that would have caused it. I know there are certain colors associated to chakras. And while I'm familiar with the major chakras running up the spine/head. I'm not familiar with any of the smaller ones. Nor do I know if there are any in the legs (the color was concentrated between my knee and hip). Could that be what it was? Has anyone else experienced this? I generally see it around peoples head and shoulder region. Blues, reds, oranges...I'm just assuming that it is auric colors. Sometimes the colors are streams or columns. If I am relaxed, I see them. If I'm caught up in the world, I don't. Any insight is highly appreciated. Paul LAUNCH - Your Music Experience
Guest guest
I think anyone can see the blue fuzz around the body. I have shown it to many people and most can see it. What I see is not so wide as what you describe. Bring your fingers together and then pull them apart. The blue looks like taffy pulling from the tips of the fingers and getting thinner in mid-air. It is easy to see in dim light and against a white background. I usually see color from the back of the spine, but I have to be looking. I can't be wearing glasses. I don't have very good "vision" so the color is very faint. Also, I see the light around the head sometimes when I am giving a shiatsu. I see it around my feet when I am doing shoulder stand but it is not colored. I know people who see auras everywhere and they can tell how people feel depending on the light and its shape, color etc. I have seen one that was falling off and smoky. The person was quite ill, but had not been ill before. She did not want to hear what I saw. I think it is usually best to keep it to yourself unless the person is very open. - "Paul Wasick" <lucidinterval1 <Kundaliniyoga> Friday, May 24, 2002 9:04 AM Re: color question again > > > spatialagent1 <spatialagent1 wrote: > <Suddenly I noticed a sky blue color along the outside of my > left leg. Guest guest
I had always assumed, as Paul described, that the aura was comprised of different colors. I thought it may have been my aura, but I have never seen one before. And I thought it was odd that I only noticed it on one part of my body. If that's what it was, I'll pay closer attention to it, if it happens again. Thanks for the feedback guys! Christa
Guest guest
Dear Paul, how wonderful for you to be able to see the auric colors to the extend that you describe. There are quite a few books that will tell you the meaning of those colors and it is well worth pursuing. They can indicate the state of health of a person, or if someone is at peace, angry, depressed or has an illness looming. A dedicated teacher may have a lot of green around them, a go-getter at the office, a lot of red. An ugly, black/purplish red shows deepseated anger, Stay out of this one's range for a while. Dull, dark and brown tones may indicate disease. If you see it around a specific area, a problem in that region may be indicated. An illness will show up in the auric field first before it manifest in physical. You are truly blessed to have this ability and you should make good use of it. If you are not already, you may like to go into the healing field.
