Guest guest
My name is Vida Adamoli. I'm a writer, a Buddhist, and I live in London, England. I've recently started practicing kundalini yoga and I'm interested in learning more. For this reason I've signed up for the on-line kundalini lessons. Guest guest
Welcome Vida. I started to study KY about 3 months ago and have found this list to be extremely helpful. The people who post are very encouraging and very friendly. They are always willing to help out with any experiences or knowledge that they have. In case you have not yet found it, there is also a website that has on-line courses that's affiliated with this list. The url is www.kundaliniyoga.org. That site has also been a big help to me. Guest guest
Sat Nam and Welcome to the group Vida, I dabble in Vipassana on the side, maybe you can give me tips in private posts. The pranayam should really help your meditation too. Blessings Brad
Guest guest
Hi Christa, Thank you for your welcome. I've actually signed up for the on-line courses and look forward to hearing from them. Re the list, I'm concerned I won't have to time to read all the postings (I got 14 this morning!). But I've had a quick glance and it all looks very interesting. Best wishes Vida
Guest guest
Hi Brad, Thank you for your welcome. As a Nichiren Shoshu Buddhist practicing for 18 years, I'm not so interested in the meditation side of Kundalini yoga. Our morning and evening is a dynamic meditation and constitutes my spiritual practice. However, my very short experience of doing Kundalini yoga has made me believe that something spiritual happens just by doing the basic kundalini chants and physical exercises. Guest guest
Vida- You may want to switch to digest version. That's what I selected to recieve for that very reason. Instead of being inundated with a bunch of emails, you get one email that contains all of the postings for that period within it. Then, when you have the chance, just scroll down through all of them. Just a thought. Christa
Guest guest
Thanks Christa - that's exactly what I'll do! Vida
Guest guest
Sat Nam Vida, My post was in reference to all meditation not just Kundalini. It will be interesting to see if you note any difference in your meditation from continuing the yoga. As you know we do KY to set up meditation, and it works like a 'hand in glove'.
