Guest guest
The author of the attached website is obviously NOT Crowley, who knew nothing about Black Holes or "the heat-death of the universe." The unnamed author also has little or no knowledge of Hinduism. To state that Siva is the force of Order in the Universe, and Shakti is Chaos, is a serious misrepresentation. Jody is a Kali devotee, so he sees Kali as the source of all existance. But devotees of Shiva see Shiva as the source of all existance, devotees of Krishna see Krishna as such, devotees of Ganesha see Ganesha as such, devotees of Durga see Durga as such, and so on. Hindus see each of the "deities" as facets of a great jewel of Brahman (undifferentiated Godhead). We most of us (Hindus) chose which facet is our favorite, but they are all part of the same jewel. On the level of the Puranas (myths and legends), each deity has specific associations. Shiva is the force of Transformation, Vishnu the force of Preservation, Shakti is Manifest Power. But talk to their devotees, and each deity is the God of gods and source of all things to them. -- Len/ Kalipadma --- jodyrrr <jodyrrr wrote: > > Kali_Ma, "harpakhrad11" > <ratlord@c...> wrote: > > > > > > I know Aleister Crowley is a bit unconventional, > but I feel it's > > worth a read.
