The one exception to the rule that comes immediately to mind is the

heroine Draupadi from the Mahabharata. The hero Arjuna "won" her as a

bride in an archery contest. When he told his mother he had won a great

prize, Kunti (his mother) said, "You must share it with your brothers."

So Draupadi is married to all five Pandava brothers.
