Guest guest
Namaste ji, You are a householder, how nice. I was affraid that you might have been a Swamiji. Please do not get me wrong. I have experinced a Swamiji who refused to go in details on subjects like vivekacudami and upanishad as I am a married woman i.e he was more afraid that I would leave everything (my family) and embark on the studies. Seva is one of the 4 yogas that every individual should practise. It is great to hear that you do pooja and homa in devotees' houses. If you don't mind ji, who is the Swamiji Maharaj that you are talking about? I am willing to give all my assistance to you ji, especially working on kalika purana. Thank you ji. Guest guest
Namaste Nurcarnation, >You are a householder, how nice. I was affraid that you might have been a Swamiji. Please do not get me wrong. Swa (Sva) means ones self (or Atman) ami, means "I" (the individual self). It mean that "I" am in union with the Atman. It is an title of recognition of attainment of self knowledge. Generally means that one is no longer just an individual, one is connected with the fulness of the Paratman. In this position one serves all. This is what Swami really means .I did not get you wrong at all I understand where you are coming from that is why I talk very less about myself as a lot of preconception are there about words like sannyasi, aghora, avadhuta and swamijis. I have experinced a Swamiji who refused to go in details on subjects like vivekacudami and upanishad as I am a married woman i.e he was more afraid that I would leave everything (my family) and embark on the studies. Well probably the respected Swamiji had his reasons to says so but I would not be able to guess why . Anyway the studies you are talking about are related to highest knowledge or pinnacale of hindu spritual structure known as vedanta however there is a lot of vedantist who are married thus that should not be a problem. We could cover this when you are ready if it pleases your goodself. I do not belief that there is a need for anybody to leave anything. Sannyasa have been the most misunderstood branch of Hinduism today. Seva is one of the 4 yogas that every individual should practise. I suppose you meant karma yoga. It is great to hear that you do pooja and homa in devotees' houses. Yes last week was Sri Mahalakshmi Sahasranam Yagna Puja . This week some rest and next week Ganapathi Yagna. All are done as service with no charges to it and Satsang at devotees house....... If you don't mind ji, who is the Swamiji Maharaj that you are talking about? My initiated name is Krishnananda Saraswathi, disciple of Swami Vitalananda Saraswathi whose master is Swami Satyananada Saraswathi whose is currently in Devi Mandir .I refer to Swami Satyananda Sarawathi as Swami Maharaj because he is the Swami to my Swami and he the senior in this lineage ............. >I am willing to give all my assistance to you ji, especially working on kalika purana. Thank you. If you want to help I need to know where are you from (address/mail/telephone number) and what ways are you willing to help............... Guest guest
Namaste ji, My humble salutation to the holy feet of Swamiji Maharaj Satyananda Saraswati, Swamiji Vitallananda Saraswati and to you ji, Krishnanda Saraswati. Ji, thank you very much again for giving me the opportunity to embark on the vedanta sutra. Probably while working on the Narada Bhakti sutra why don't we work along on the Isavasyopanisad. I would love to join the satsang or the puja that you are preforming ji.Where do you conduct them? I had bad experience in revealing my phone no. and email address over the net. I do not want to disrupt the flow of knowledge that I am gaining here, with some prank calls or mails from unscruples people. As That will also disrupt my family harmony. I hope you will understand ji, as when the family is in harmony every member of the family can concentrate in gaining more knowledge of wisdom to attain mother. But I have no problem at all working through the net for you ji.I could look for articles that you would like to present at your sat sang, I could type verses for and etc. .. P.S. i usually would not have the time to get into the net on weekends, as my family is shopping for the coming new year, i found a cybercafe. Well Looking forward to hear from you on Monday. Guest guest
Namaste Nurcarnation, You are from selangor then, I live in Penang, Bukit Jambul. Yes ,but you need not share it here if you feel uncomfortable to do so for any unnecessary circumstances you could mail or call me to share any other details .. I got to travel to attend for your homas or pujas then. Yes I am afraid you might not feel comfortable travelling all the way .But it will be good if you could bring your family members along……………(we could always come and do homa at your place as well……………………… Let me know ji on your next homa or puja that you will be conducting. Next would be the next Saturday as my son is born 12th of April. He would be 1 years old . We will be having Kali Yagna at home . We will be having Ma Durga Puja and Yagna either this week Saturday or on 19th April in a devotees house in Cheras. Our weekly satsang are held on every Sundays at Shah Alam which I think one of these days you could come and take part as there will be at least 5 families in each sessions. There is Maha Ganapathy Homa puja next month apart from regular amavasya Kali puja at home on every new moon day. If it pleases your goodself we could also have puja or yagna at your home but I leave it up to your discretion as you need time to think about it as I am sure you have your commitments and constraints as well but the point I am trying to emphasis here is the travelling is not an issue for us we are willing to be wherever there is love and sincerity to Divine Mother . I am just stating this here to say I am always at devotee service that is to give more than I receive…………I sure have the time over the net, Well if you really do want to help than I need all the help I could get . The satsang has 5 main components that is scripture studies, kirtan, yoga asanas, introduction to Hinduism, mantra learning and method of puja .I also need help for Kali Ma . Now this group members are here to learn more about Ma Kali so I suggest if you are really interested let us work behind the screen before we put it here for all Her children. That is why if you are really interested to be of service than please mail me at kanna_krishnan (AT) hotmail (DOT) com.my. So that it will not disturb the flow in this group as we are already discussing upanishad and bhakthi sutra here………………….. I see that another devotee of mother is also looking out for the kalika purana. May I know who will that be as I could see him her ??/ When shall we start on it ji. We shall start on it once we have covered upanishads and Narada and Sandilya Bhakthi sutra ……… Have you visited kalima2 and learnt about other Kali Ma sages that was living among us other than Bhagawan Ramakrishna?
