Guest guest
I think you mean the "bindu." My limited knowledge of Hindi language says that a "bhindi" is an okra vegetable, used in gumbo. Don't know of traditions of wearing veggies. The bindu is worn by Hindu married ladies in the parting of their hair. A dot of red or yellow powder on a person's forehead indicates that they have been to a ritual, and marked their third eye. I'm going to start wearing cauliflower bits on a string around my neck. I don't like okra! -- Len/ Kaliflower On Wed, 27 Oct 2004 00:49:55 -0000 "cclindberg" <cclindberg writes: > > > I have a question on the Bhindi.
