Merry Meet!

 

I would like to be in contact with devotees of Kali that are

following an Earth-based Religion.

I am a Solitary Neo-Pagan in the priesthood training (of Kali

Ma/Sekhmet-the Egyptian "Kali" lion-headed Goddess) with The

Fellowship of Isis and the Correlian Nativist Wiccan trad.

Greetings Varuna,

 

I am an Alexandrian-initiated Wiccan, and a former member of the Iseum of

Hidden Mysteries (an FOI group), who has studied under Chandra Alexandra (a

Priestess of Kali) through Cherry Hill Seminary. After a "year and a day"

of devotion to Ma Kali, have started performing pujas to other Devas, and

find myself particularly drawn to Ma Kali, Durga and Shiva. I am currently

studying Sanskrit and have a background in Celtic language, working on

finding the IndoEuropean roots common to both Paganism and Hinduism.

 

I feel quite at home with the Devas, having been exposed to Ganesh and

Lakshmi by my mother at a young age. I've always loved Indian music and

food, and feel as though I have lived in India before -- though my ancestry

is mostly Celtic. Thus the blending.

 

So, in my welcoming you to the list, I am finally making my own belated

introduction.
