Correct me if I am wrong, I think you have combined both nyana and

bhakti yoga in your puja and helping us through the net you have also

done your karma yoga. Its really excellent. I have to run to the

nearest store or some place to get my narada bakti sutra.Can we start

the lessons as soon as possible.

 

Yes it is called by Swami Sivananda Maharaj as yoga of sythensis and

yes by Maa's grace we would embark on this beautiful journey....

Chandi is She Who Tears Apart Thought.She is that Unmanifested

Brahman who manifest Herself into 3 prime form as MahaKali,

MahaLakshmi and Maha Saraswathy and finally destroys asura

Mahisashura which signifies The Great Ego thus called

Mahishashuramardini-the Slayer of Great Ego in Chandi Path.The

Unmanifest Brahman evolves into ishtha devata for the sake of

devotee and this scripture is the authority to show Maa Kali is with

form ,without form and also beyond that signifying the highest truth

of vedanta -that is the significance of Chandi Path to Kali Maa

devotee. The mantras can be used in few form that is in japa

(repeatation),stotra (hymn) and also Path -in recitation. Chandi Path

is recitation of scripture in a form of mantra .

 

Now how is Maa Chandi related to Maa Kali.Kali signifies the Remover

of Darkness whilst Chandi is She Who Tears Apart Thought. They are

actually reflection of image of the sun on the surface of the sea.It

actually reflects the same essence .........The first manifestation

of Kali Ma in form of Maha Kali is perceived by Lord Brahma in Chandi

Path and Kalika Purana evolved 500 years after Chandi Path, thus

making the first manifestation of Kali Maa in Chandi Path then

followed by Kalika Purana .The Unmanifest manifest as Kali for

destruction of Too Much and Too Little known as Madhu and

Kaitabha ,Raktabija -Seed of Desire and Sumbha and Nisumbha (Self

Conceit and Self Depreciation ) and Chanda and Munda (Anger and

Passion)in Chandi Path.In fact it is in this scripture Kali Maa was

called Chamunda as She is the Slayer of Anger and Passion.It is also

known as Durga Saptasathi (700 verses of Durga)and Devi Mahatmya

(Glories of Divine Goddess).It is actually a portion of Markendaya

Purana revealed by Sage Markendaya .Nobody that I have ever known in

my life can give better revealation of Chandi Path than Swami

Satyananda Saraswathy Maharaj of Devi Mandir. Please check their

there is any other book that worth reading for Kali devotee then it

would be ;
