Guest guest
Greetings everyone i need opinions here just a bit, i am making a Mahavidya alter and I have been working on it for a while. I have been having this nagging feeling months before doing this and now Im building it. My Mahavidya alter is not complete, but its getting real nice. I was thinking of making my own Chinnamasta. ok I cant find a statue of Chinnamasta so i decided why not make one myself?! So why not buy a doll, cut its head off and have the doll hold the head, while I place 2 smaller dolls one black and one white next to Her. I can then get 3 red wires and have it look like the blood shooting out of the neck and into her severed head and the mouths of the 2 smaller female dolls. Well that is how Chinnamasta is seen. Then I can make 3 silver swords and place each sword into the hand of each doll. For Bhairavi I have a candle that is made into a skull with blood all over it. For Kamala I have a lotus image. I have a Kali statue and a Tara statue on the alter and for Bagalamukhi I have a gold box and tumeric to represent her. For Bhuvaneshvari I have two rocks seperate from each other. For Tripura Sundari I have the image of Our Lady of Guadalupe there I did not know what else to use. I need more images and a crow feather, 2 more picture frames, yantras for each Mahavidya, libation bowls, candle holders and much more I think. So what is everyone's thought on this. I have this nagging thought to get this done. It is still not what it should be yet but its getting so much nicer. I wanna place a Ganesha alter next to it. I need to complete my Shiva and Durga alters as well. My whole home is becomming filled with alters. I have a kali alter, oshun alter, Chango alter, Yemoya alter (not complete), Hecate alter (not complete), Elegua alter, and just so many more alters. Of cousre I have my ceremonial double cubical alter as well. Kalimir
