Guest guest
Namaste Nurcarnation,Lets work on next verse As you wish my dear ………….Verse 3Asurya nama te loka andhena tamasavrtah tams te pretyabhigacchanti yeke catma-hanojanah Asurya (belonging to the asuras) nama (verily) te (those) loka (births) andhena tamasa (with blinding darkness) avrtah(shrouded) tams te (they) pretya (after death) abhigacchanti (attains)ye ke (whoever) ca (and ) atma-hana (slayers of Atman) janah (person Verily those births are enshrouded in blinding darkness belonging to asuric nature . Those who slay the self ,after death would attain various worlds. Now this verse tell us about the third type of people who are not in the classification of the first verse (have cultivated renunciation and detachment by understanding the truth of life ) nor second verse (have not cultivated renunciation and detachment but have understood the true purpose of life and follows scriptural guideline to attain the two higher qualities in first verse ) . This verse says those who have not had the chance to understand the true knowledge to dispel the darkness of ignorance in their heart (stated here as enshrouded in darkness) as seen belonging to asura . Here asura means those who are attached to sensual enjoyment alone and not literal sense as demons whereas devas means those who are more inclined towards absolute state of emancipation What is this true knowledge? The true knowledge is that the Atman is Satchitananda., That the Atman is of nature of Brahman. That the Atman cannot be slain for it is beginningless and endless. Thus, those who thinks the Atman dies when the body dies are known as those who believe that Atman can be slain .. Which means those shrouded in darkness are those who think their soul can actually die when the body dies. For such a people there is no condemnation of hell forever but there is a chance to cultivate wisdom in various experiences until the person is ready for final emancipation again. Simply put ; for those who think that when they die everything have also ended they do not have to fear as they would be born in different world until they cultivated enough wisdom to understand the true knowledge one day. As such in Hinduism every life is merely evolving towards the ultimate goal of divinity by the experience that they gather in wheel of samsara (life) . So none is a failure every body is evolving on their own speed………..
