Namaste ji,

Your explanation on Navarathri makes more sense then the ritual

celebration that is done.

Ji, in my country or ethinic group navarathri is celebrated for 9

days and 10th day for vijayadasami. On the 6th -9th day it is

celebrated for Mother Saraswathy, and we celebrate by placing books

or musical instruments for us to achieve better result in examination

or musical recitation, always told by the elders. But your

explanation ji, shows more than all that as Navarathri is actually

the cleansing of our soul with the 10th day being eradication of ego,

the toughest of them all.

Ji, I do not understand on how Chandi Ma is Unmanifest. Can you

please explain to me what do you mean by unmanifest, thank you ji.

Shall wait eagerly for your reply.

Namaste Nurcarnation,

>Your explanation on Navarathri makes more sense then the ritual celebration that is done.

Bhagawan Ramakrishna use to say ritual are like husk of the rice, once the rice

matures than the husk would fall off by itself. This means once you have matured

spiritually the ritual of the religion would fall off by itself . As you need it

like the river needs the bank until it reaches the ocean.Since you have

understood the significance of the celebration you could always celebrate it

with such an understanding by sharing it with others on this beautiful day.

> >Ji, in my country or ethinic group navarathri is celebrated for 9 >days and

Actually putting of this instrument above signfies Mother Saraswathy as She is

the presiding deity for vina (lute- music) veda ( knowledge represented by the

book) It is asummed where this is present She will manifest Herself. Well

because She have touched the book and instrument when She come there during

puja anything left after puja is considered prasad . Thus the book and the

musical instrument are considered blessed and those using them would also be

blessed by the vibration on themas they are prasad. Thus the idea of achieving

success in using them in future is conceived.. This worship is according to

Saivism in particular Saiva Siddhantam of South India .

Since you mentioned my country may I know which country is this and what you

meant ethnisc group as Saiva Siddhantham follows this method of worship and I

could share the methodology of that worship if you want to know the

significance as well. I see that you call yourself as nurcarnation but also

call yourself as Children of Kali below . If there was more than one of you

(children represents more than one as oppose to child) forgive me as I have

been addresing you all as one person (nurcarnation) before .

But your explanation ji, shows more than all that as Navarathri is actually the

of them all.

Yes every festive season has inner and outer meaning. Outer to cultivate

happines outwardly for all and inner to cultivate spirtuality within. Realise

this and celebrate to your hearts contend !!!!

Chandi means She Who Tears Apart Thought so if you try to put limitation of

form on Her it would not be possible because only thought can make up a form .

Now She was without form but when Lord Brahma called for Her She took the form

of Kali. when the devas called for Her She came as Mahalakshmi and again when

they prayed for Her again She came as MahaSaraswathy . When without form I call

Her Unmanifest (Niguna Brahman)and with form I would call Her Manifest (Saguna

Brahman). She is Paramapurusha(Supreme Being) also Brahman( Beyond

Perception)manisfetsing as Maa (Mahakali) for us .................
