Guest guest
My name is David, and I thank y'all for welcoming me into this group. I am 49 years old, married, two children, with a small farm and four horses in Mullica Township. I work for the Press of Atlantic City as a writer, covering health, science, environment and technology. I also write a series of stories called Legacies, about people who have died. I am a self-described pagan, though I still seek my own path. I do not worship, but rather revere my chosen pantheon of dieties. I feel afinities for Hecate, Kali, Medusa and Mary Magdalene. During a recent circle to discover our totem animals, I saw what I initially misidentified as a homunculus (a tiny but otherwise well-formed human). Actually, what I saw closer to a hairy half-human. No idea what that means. I have studied relgions of all types for many years. As a youth, I preached Pentacostal, and planned to become an ordained minister. That fell away, but my fascination with religion never did. I flirted with atheism for about 2 years, but just couldn't put aside the connectedness I feel with the rest of creation. Something is there, but I don't yet know what. Enlightenment? In my spare time, I play with the kids or make music videos for the metal band Otep. I'll not post a link here, but anyone interested in the band or the videos feel free to drop me an e-mail. David
