Guest guest
Durga Saptasati (or the Chandi) is NOT a text on Tantra! It is mainstream Shakta Hinduism. For Tantra, you have to read The Mahanirvana Tantra, or other translations by Arthur Avalon. Most mainstream Hindus are terrified of Tantra. They think (erroneously) Tantra is about black magic. As most Westerners think (erroneously) that Tantra is about sex. There is nowhere in the Chandi that instructions on the <panchamakara> can be found. It is NOT Tantric! Why are you misleading people? -- Len/ Kalipadma On Thu, 10 Jun 2004 10:22:02 +0100 (BST) =?iso-8859-1?q?sharma=20kd?= <sharma_462008 writes: > As i know > Durga saptasati is the basic book of start to learn tantra as after > that we have to take diksha and start further learnning. > Datia in madhya pradesh and vindhyachal Bharavkund is best place to > take diksha.swamiji of vindhyachal is litrate persion he is phd in > tantra and every thing is open there as datia saktipeeth have good > learnning and published matterial there but there is secrecy and not > open for all.navratri is best time for visit and for diksha as per > my knowladge. > u may visit www.sakaldwipi.com > site is still under construction > Om Bhagwati > ______________ The best thing to hit the Internet in years - Juno SpeedBand!
