Sat Nam Dharam,

Good post, I enjoyed reading it. Even though I am not a Sikh I understand

that

Sikhs aren't just worshippers. They don't just go to service on Sunday, or read

a few scriptures. They believe in Truth, they are 'seekers'. I believe you can

find

that Truth without yoga and meditation, its been done, but I see that as a

major difference between Sikhism and other 'religions'. To be guided

blindly is not the same as seeking the Truth within yourself. Ok, I'm getting

esoteric now.

And the athieists, Bertrand Russell,...'I prattle therefore I am'?! Sorry,

they are just

part of the blame game.

Blessings

Brad

Bertrand Russell also wrote an enlightening essay entitled, "Why I Am Not a

Christian," which skewers Christianity right where it needs to be

re-examined. (See, e.g., Bishop Spong's book, Why Christianity Must Change or

Die.) As to Sikhism, I think Russell simply recognizes why

Yogiji called Guru Nanak the "Guru for the Aquarian Age."

Thanks for the reference.

Steve Porter

P.S. While I love the Sikh religion deeply, and while I challenge Christianity

vigorously, I have remained a Christian adherent of ky and the

teachings of Yogi Bhajan.
