Guest guest
However, I need to have a serious conversation regarding spirituality> with my mother soon. Should be attending church regularly, with my children. And from her perspective, I agree with her. However, I'm not> convinced that attending church is what I personally need right now. Christa- Remember there is religion and spirituality, beliefs and faith......I think the path you have chosen is spirituality and faith.......I was just reading about this difference between beliefs and faith in Wake Up to Your Life....."Beliefs provide a way to interpret what happens in life as a part of a larger order, plan they tell us what is possible and what is not. Beliefs appear to confirm our place in the scheme of things because the interpretation they offer accords with what is already inside us. Beliefs offer the impression of security and shelter from the mystery of being. Beliefs are a form of sleep. I think many people are afraid to question the mystery of being, they are the sheep that follow a established system telling them what to believe in ...then there are others that need that connection to something more.....everyone should be allowed to pursue what brings them closer to God, including your children......I know of many people who go to church for thier children, and it means nothing to them, there children continue the cycle.....it seems ludicrous to me.....KY seems to foster that connection to the divine...for those individuals that are attracted to it.....while.church seems to constrict the soul, the mind, KY opens and expands it. > > > > - Official partner of 2002 FIFA World Cup http://fifaworldcup.
