Guest guest
Dear Gururattan, In your book "Transitions to a Heart-Centered world", I tried the kriya on page 36 this morning, "Gururattan Kaur's Strengthening the Navel Center, Elimination & Digestion, Balancing & Distributing Creative Energy". My query concerns Exercise 3, Sit Ups (& Downs). "Cross arms across the chest, kness bend (feet can be anchored under something); and lean back as far as you can and then come upright again. Then lean back alterntely to the right and to the left. (Practice until you can reach the floor and come back up" So..it's sit back, sit up, sit back leaning to the right, sit up, sit back leaning to the left, sit up and repeat. When I lean back to the side, is it with the intention to touch my shoulder on that side to the ground or just lean back pointing and stretching my elbow to the side? It's a great kriya, it seems very balanced! In fact the whole book is great. My boyfriend and I have particularly enjoyed reading and discussing the section about the different astrological ages and the shift from the age of Pisces to Aquarius. Being that I come from a Yogic background and him an astrological background it's been wonderful to study them both together.
