Guest guest
"A desperate man prays better than any Saint" I had no intention of going deep. I had major psychosomatic heart pain (life really hurts sometime). The opportunities that revealed themselves to me, coupled with my history made for a nearly "do or die" situation. I had to release this pain in my life. The Kundalini wasn't tolerating anything less! I have a positive mind and my longing was such that I was able to throw myself into therapy wholeheartedly. I had no concept that I was doing something abnormal or dysfunctional. I was even proud that I could say I had emotions that I didn't have a handle on. I just wanted to be clear and live past my 21 birthday. Other people who have done this yogic path may have had other agendas going on such as being part of a path, or living in ashram where Sadhana was mandatory. I had some of those experiences and they were big! but I was also spending time with Rolling Thunder a Shoshone Shaman in Nevada. The relationship added a lot of "pepper" to my existence. "Don Juan wants me to attempt to stop the world, but if I don't have the energy to do it I may die," Carlos Castaneda In Don Juanian terms, "stopping the world" was letting go of the last vestiges of cultural preconceptions. Bioenergetics is great stuff but coming to it with your innocence is even more powerful. Gotta run....late for work, Dharam "the notion of turning off one's internal dialogue in order to apprehend an expanded reality, dispensing with one's ego in order to follow "a path with heart," having an awareness of one's death in order to live life fully - each had direct parallels in other philosophical and religious disciplines" Avtar Kaur wrote: > Dharam, > > Are you saying that this deep process happened naturally or that you > deliberately went much deeper than most people do ?
