Guest guest
Sat Nam, I remember that some time ago someone posted a Mantra or kriya to utilize if another meant to do us serious harm. There was also a caution that this was very powerful and to only use it if necessary. I have searched the archives. I found a reference to asking mother earth to use a violet light for protection for the body. I am also aware of the Triple Mantra, "Ad guray nameh..." and I have the Gurunam CD. However, it seems that there was another suggestion. Does anyone remember this or have other suggestions? Also, please comment on the 'powerful' caution. I don't wish to cause harm or condemn anyone, what they do is their business and path. However, I do need to take precautions and protect myself. I refuse to be in fear. I think most times threats or curses are just that at face value. But, I'm not taking them lightly either. Sometimes irrational people can go too far in their anger. Guest guest
Heidi, I had asked for similar advise several months ago. I can't find the email now, but I do remember someone suggesting that I work on my naval chakra. Supposedly, the stronger it became the less negativity effected me. Well, to be honest, I was skeptical although I have been working with chakras for about 10 years, so I figured i had nothing to lose and it might keep my mind off my problem. I am forced by circumstance to be in the company of a very unbalanced woman, who is very angry with everyone and for a time I was the scapegoat, -she is a reiki master and wiccan, I could literally feel the negative energy and it was causing me distress. As my naval chakras strengthened, I started to feel less, her energy and its effect faded to nothing. In fact, I now tend to dismiss I ever did. But, if truth be told, The stronger my naval chakras, the more it feels like I am wearing emotional armor. It sounds almost too simple, but perhaps that is what makes it so elegant. blessings, I hope this helps. cris On Thursday, July 11, 2002, at 10:56 AM, Heidi B. Whatever the question, the answer (or at least part of the answer) is the navel center. Sat Nam, Gururattan Kaur
Guest guest
Heidi - I think the mantra you may be referring to is something like : Alock, Baba Siri Chand de rock, but I forget the correct wording. I've been taught this at various Solstices, and am sure I have the notes somewhere on the correct spelling. I believe you are to chant it only one time, with the image of the person causing or intending to cause harm in mind. Can anyone clarify the actual mantra? I, too, am involved in a situation in which calling on the power of this mantra will help. Thanks, Balwant Kaur
Guest guest
In the early 1970's we used to just chant: Guru Ram Das rocko sirnai for protection. (Spelling is phonetic.) It specifically seeks Guru Ram Das' protection. Steve Porter

That is it, although spelling varies. believe you are to chant it only one time, 3 times with conviction. It also helps get rid of your own rage that can attract negative situations. with the image of the person causing or intending to cause harm in mind. This is powerful and should be used only when the situation merits it, i.e. evil intent. Nothing like navel power to protect your field though.
