Guest guest
SAt Nam, Re the question about arm twists. Try doing the version with the elbows bent, forearms up, thumb and forefinger touching and see if that makes a difference. Press the shoulder blades together and press the muscles in the back forward to support the heart. I find the breath is deeper in the above twist. Sometimes it takes along time to open the heart and then open day the breath relaxes and you notice the shift. I have had students have pain during these exercises and then one day it is gone. Guest guest
Gururattan- I wanted to let you know. I have been doing the arm/side twists as you recommended. It has helped a lot. I don't feel the 'wheezing' sensation nor the pressure like I do in the other position. I have also been doing some heart opener meditations and exercises that will hopefully help as well. Thank you for the advice! Christa
