Guest guest
I misunderstood the hand position for the brainwave meditation for a while. The correct arm position looks like a goalpost with your head in the middle, but the upper arm need not be parallel with the ground. However, the forearms must be perpindicular to the ground. Stick the jupiter (index) fingers straight up, and lock the remaining three fingers into a fist with the thumb, which you keep touching the fingernails or 1st knuckles of these fingers during the exercise. Last point: turn the assembled fists toward each other (thumbs toward each other). Gururattan can correct me if I missed anything. Hope this helps. -thomas

Guest guest
Sat Nam Ahmad, KIRTAN KRIYA The kirtan Kriya meditation for creativity (for alot of stuff) is excellent to do after the relaxation period that follows the basic spinal energy series. It celebrates the cycle of creation: birth, life, death, rebirth. This kriya involves the chanting of the primal sounds that signify the stages of life. They are: Sa, which means "birth", "infinity", or "cosmos"; Ta, which means "life", or "existence"; Na, which means "death", or "completion"' and Ma, which means "rebirth". Say each of these words repeatedly, in order: Sa Ta Na Ma. The "a" in these words is pronounced as a soft a, or "ah". Repeat this mantra while sitting with your spine straight, and your mental energy focused on the area of your brow, or forebrain.Yogis believe that this stimulates your pituitary gland. You can find this spot by rolling your eyes to the top, or at root of your nose. For two minutes, chant in your normal voice, which yogis call the "voice of action". For the next two minutes, chant in a whisper, which yogis call the "voice of the lover". For the next three minutes, chant silently; the yogis call this "the divine language". The reverse the order, whispering for two minutes and chanting the mantra out loud for two minutes, for a total of eleven minutes. (there's a sequence for 31 minutes too) For 11 min. its 2-2-3-2-2. For 31 min. its 5-5-6-5-5. The mudras, or finger positions, are very important in this kriya. On Sa, touch the index fingers of each hand to your thumbs. On Ta, touch your middle fingers to your thumbs. On Na, touch your ring fingers to your thumbs. On Ma, touch your little fingers to your thumbs. To come out of the kriya, inhale very deeply, stretch your hands above your head, and then bring them down in a sweeping motion as you exhale. In a short time, the kirtan kriya may well increase your intuition, creativity, and mental energy. There you go. Blessings Brad

What specifically so you not understand? The hand arm positions? I think this might be it. Anyone what to see if they can do a better job than I did?
