Sat Nam Anyone Interested,

" the way it appears in Sadhana Guidelines" -- Yes, it does say mentally in

the Guidelines manual. And press and realease molars rythymically to the chant.

The version in R&R is earlier or from someone else's notes?

Blessings

Is this the way you are supposed to chant silently normally?

Sat Nam Ellen,

_Is this the way you are supposed to chant silently normally?

If you are asking, are you supposed to always press the molars together when

chanting silently, then the answer is no. Generally you follow the instructions

as are written.

Only when specified.

Could be either. There are definitely different versions and

interpretations from the different early notes when the classes were not

recorded. I would go with silent since Gurucharan was there.

If you mean, by pressing the molars together, then no, that is specifically for

this meditation. From the comments" The pressure exerted by the thumbs

triggers a rhythmic reflex current to the central brain. This current activates

the brain area directly underneath the stem of the pineal gland. It is an

imbalance in this area that make mental and physical addictions seemingly

unbreakable. sukhmani
