Guest guest
As far as pregnancy is concerned do nothing that puts strain on the navel. No Breath of Fire, Sat Kryia, stretch pose etc. No body drops. After the first 22 weeks no lying flat on the back. You can lie on the side, or propped up with cushions behind the back There is a book called "Gift of Giving Life' by Tarn Taran Kaur Khalsa that has yogic info for pregnacy and also contains sets and meditations. You can get it from www.a-healing.com. Good exercise are butterfly, Life nerve stretch ( which can be done with the legs spead) , Spinal flexes, crow pose, gentle spinal twists. You can use your common sense here to figure out what will put pressure on the navel and what will twist the body too far. A good thing to keep in mind is that during pregnacy the body produces relaxin , so the joints can stretch easily to make room for the expanding uterus. The downside is that it becomes very easy to hyperextend the joints, so it is good to be careful. Hope this helps, Blessings, Avtar ______________ GET INTERNET ACCESS FROM JUNO!
