Guest guest Posted July 31, 2002 Report Share Posted July 31, 2002 Sat Nam- There have been several 'conversations' on this list regarding seeing colors when doing ky, you may want to search the archives and read them. But basically it is one of the physical 'side effects' of ky. As for the ringing, it's probably the same type of effect. I'm personally not familiar with the term "twin towers of God". But from what I've read and understood, the ringing is associated to the sound of OM/AUM from within your body. Ringing in the ears can also be associated with some hearing problems. But if you've been hearing it for awhile now and haven't developed any other issues with hearing, then I would assume the ringing is associated with ky. Guest guest Posted July 31, 2002 Report Share Posted July 31, 2002 Hello, While I'm hardly qualified to give any kind of opinion or advice regarding KY, at this point in time I believe I'm pretty much an expert on seeing chakra colors and hearing "sounds." What I think you're seeing, Freespirit, are your chakras opening and I think you may be hearing the sounds from your first and fourth chakras. It could be a sign that your K energy is moving *because* of the KY exercises. You may want to read about Kundalini energy and some of the "very interesting" effects it causes. Personally, I had been seeing glorious deep indigo and magenta before I started KY, but with work on the lower chakras, I'm able to take the colors, one by one, from the base of my spine to my crown chakra and literally view a light show while meditating -- it's very pleasant. As far as the sounds, I heard the ringing all my life as well, but lately the sounds are becoming more varied. One of the moderators on another K list, an incredibly wonderful person who instructs Kriya yoga, posted the following: 1st chakra, base of spine: Hissing sound, like the sound of wind. 2nd chakra, reproductive center: Crickets. 3rd chakra, just above the navel, personal power center: Pan flute. 4th chakra, heart center: bells or gong. 5th chakra, throat: high-pitched metallic ringing. 6th chakra, third eye, center of forehead: glorious trumpets. 7th chakra, crown chakra, top of the head: thunder, followed by the AUM sound. I hope this helps you figure out your colors and sounds. Whatever you do, PLEASE welcome all of your experiences with calmness and love, enjoy the sensations and rejoice that you are a vehicle for God's light. However, Christa is right -- perhaps you need to have your hearing checked as well -- Beethoven heard ringing for most of his life and finally became deaf! Sat Nam!
