Guest guest
satnam, I totally agree that it's the vibrations. the mantras that we use are so powerful and goes directly to the source because they are written in sacred languages to take us to the light.Even if you are not focused, your concious and subconscious is changing and getting elevated to a different plane. I had a student once who had a lot of difficulty meditating and chanting. It was not her thing as she had put it. As a teacher I decided that I had to teach her meditation as miserable as she and I was working with one another. it took her a while to break through and she came to me finally and thanked me for sticking with her. She said you taught me how to meditate and that there was so much to it. I would have never known to go beyond and experience such consciousness.Deep meditation comes with time and practice. In this age we are lucky to have a master who can help us and give us techniques that work and cut through so quickly and powerfully. We take one step forward and god takes a hundred towards us. Keep calling god's name. Sir khalsa
Guest guest
Sat Nam Heidi, "Someone asked what chant I am currently using..."Har Haray Haree Wahe Guru." - Brad.. Glad I asked, I just finished with that one for 90 days, other than the build up of energy towards the last few days, like alot of meditations, it made me more focused, it seemed to work on the heart center too. Elle suggested something earlier that was interesting and I find to be true. In KY usually its the kriyas, asanas, and arm positions, and chants that we don't care for, for some reason (ego doesn't like it?) those are the ones to do :-) I like being still too, love it, but I also get a great surge of something when I vibrate on a good chant, like Long EOKs, it puts me in a different place than pranayam meditation. Confused as to the benefits to chanting? Read about the meridians and how the vibrating effects them, the book The Mind is good for that.
