In ancient India, Kabir said:

Tulsi ye tan khet hai,

Man, bach, kar kishan,

Pap punya do bij hai,

Ye hai tera kalyan.

Translated into English:

O Tulsi, this body is the field,

Mind/thought, speech, and action are the farmers,

Vice and Virtue are two seeds,

This is (the way to) your emancipation/salvation.

This is the essence of Karma Yoga.

Bhavin.
