Sat Nam!

Heidi, sorry I overlooked replying to your email about this one... you

wanted to know the meaning of the mantra you were chanting, right?

Har Haray Hari / Wahe Guru

HAR is the creator aspect of God

HARAY is the preserver/organizer aspect of God

HARI is the destroyer/transcending/removing obstacles aspect of God

WAHE GURU is the guru mantra which elevates the spirit and brings

extasy/samadhi. Wahe is not translatable so I hear, it is an exclamation

like "hail!" or "hallelujah!" Guru is usually translated as "dispeller of

darkness" or "one who brings light" as Gu=darkness ru=light

Happy chanting happy yogi!

Wahe Guru

elle/ranjit kaur
