RE: idiots and anger for the world....

Sat Nam Deanna,

I understand your anger, my first thoughts went in the same direction. First

of all 'idiots are elected by idiots elected by other idiots' and so it is

easy to see that the world around us is just the summary of the individual

consciousness. So my idea goes in this way: if you want to change the world,

change yourself first. And - hey man - still a lot of stuff to do before we

should try to change the others around us.

But you and I and everybody aware of the problems can play his own little

roles in the big game - just buy smaller cars or better no cars at all

(huups - my boss better don't read this, I am working in a JV of

DaimlerChrysler... ;-), ride more bicycle, avoid consuming more than you

need, do more Sadhana, chant and pray, center yourself more in god, become

positive and good - and you will ignite others. Revolutions always start in

the head and here I really adore men and women with the spirit of e.g.

Ghandi.

We are all living in this world, create and change it, being part of it - so

let's become aware and change us and our lives for a better future. But make

sure you're have a loving mind for the world around you, eventhough there

might be 99 % 'idiots'. And BTW, the next election is coming - make sure you

are going to make the right choice.....

Blessings from Shanghai,

Juergen

Thanks Juergen,

I was pretty angry when I wrote those words, but it seems to me we need

help with teaching the newer generation all over the world to get along,

to stop being materialistic and see the bigger picture so all living

beings and our Earth, which is living under our feet, can heal...

Why aren't we teaching our children at home, at school, in the world the

way to live so we can heal, no, the few people who are willing to do what

is right are not able to change anyone else and it seems to me, the ones

in power are the aggressive types, the ones who cause all of us to suffer

and there is no stopping them.

I'm waiting for those hybrid cars to be mass produced in order to drive a

car, no, I don't drive and try to live my life as close to nature as I

can.

The quiet majority then must find their voices and be angry, demand

change, or nothing will change...

I am just an empty-nester living with Tipsoo, a rescued aussie who is my

whole life, I share what I learn but a lot of people just have closed

their ears, as long as they are living a life of luxury, why should they

change.

No, every thing I see is depressing, when I was young I envisioned a

world that was improving every generation, well, I've been here a long

time now, I see things deteriorating not getting better.

There are still walls up to keep people out, why kill other animals when

we can be heathier eating a vegetarian diet and save the animals, etc...

There are so many problems and not one of them is being addressed.

This world makes me feel unbalanced, I don't fit in! Glad of it too.

I hope I fit in with this group of enlightened people though, am

searching for my niche in life, it's such a miracle to see nature, why

spoil it.

Thanks for liking the quote, I like to share what I am learning from

others.

Thanks again, I really am not usually this angry!
