Guest guest
Hi there, I love seeing beautiful tasteful tattoos on people but won't get one for many reasons. just like being natural most of all.Like keeping my projection clear... One thing you might want to know is that tattoos contain some form of metal in the ink. I was told by a nurse who works in tattoo removal that you can't have a MRI if you have a tattoo because of this. I don't know if this is true or not but that's what I heard. I think I need to state my question more clearly. Will this ink in the tattoo or the symbol itself cause any disruption in the natural awakening of the kundalini in me? I need some facts that sound somewhat scientific. I don't expect anyone will be able to come up with any but I thought it would be worth a shot. I know ultimately the answer will come from within. And yes, I will share the drawing with the group when I get it. Guest guest
If you are interested......Yogi Bhajan stated that tattoos and body piercing cause holes in the aura. Are you also aware of the percentages in respect to infection? Ink also has a variety of toxic substances in it and what goes into the skin goes into the body. Minor things probably, but nowadays it seems to me that avoidable risks are left avoided. Seva Simran

I just had a MRI, and there was a long list of things that the staff wanted to know about, tattoos were not mentioned. I giggled a lot on my way in, about the metal in my lingerie (no on asked about that....) and I think teeth fillings are metal? I have a lot of those. shoshana

Guest guest
An MRI uses a magnetic field and anyone who's ever played with a magnet (I can claim endless mindless hours) can imagine what a tiny metal clip used to clamp a blood vessel someplace like in your brain would do if it started spinning! Also, pins in bones etc. I guess a metallic ink might migrate or cause an irritation in the tissue or show up as an artifact. This is their main concern (well actually liablity is their main concern...) -any effect this may have on your underwire would only provide entertainment and not damage, also your fillings should be pretty well contained and I'm not sure they are magnetic... ;-) On Tuesday, August 27, 2002, at 03:46 AM, s.cohen wrote: > I just had a MRI, and there was a long list of things that the staff > wanted to know about, tattoos were not mentioned. Guest guest
Amanda, from what I know the inks are plant based. I have tattoos, also, and they didnt't interfere at all with my K awakening. I had some work done, after she became active. Now, this is not scientific but my experience. You can inquire in any tattoo shop about the inks. I don't think K cares about tattoos, bone breaks or any other medical or cosmetic conditions. When she decides to come, she will!
