I have a friend who has a tattoo of an ancient chinese symbol on his lower spine around the 2nd chakra area. When he does Reiki.. or when poeple do Reiki on him.. he feels it activate.. increased sensation.. sometimes it even raises up and the outline of the tatoo swells. So.. obviously a connection between symbol and energy. They do effect eachother... food for thought... (so you might want to leave the energy be.....naturally.) blessings! This opens the path for sooooo many more questions. Does he regret getting it? Is it unpleasant? Does he feel like it happens because some of the energy coming into him gets stuck there? Or is it like the energy is fighting the tattoo as if it were a disease? What does the tattoo symbolize? Does he feel the symbol itself has anything to do with the reaction? In short, does he have any theories as to whats causing this phenomonom? I am very interested in finding out the answers to these questions. I would be very appreciative if you could post these questions to him. If not, its OK, I know my intuition will guide me. But the scientific mind wants to know!! Thank You!!
