Guest guest
Welcome there, I am asumming you mean when you meditate or do the yoga? I have been wearing 90% white for about 15 years and I can see the effects of colors on the aura and energy of people.I was taught to wear white because it is the calmest and most neutral color , brings out your purity and radiant body much more. I am sure some one here can be more scientific. I have always taught in white but one day I decided to teach in some blue jean and a head covering that was black and white . I could distinctly feel the black in my aura while I taught. I was quite dissappointed but I will never do that again. The colors did not support me or energize me when I taught which is why we need the white not only as students but as teachers. It is a subtle simple discipline but very powerful.I know colors affect each chakra but white as a discipline in my opinion is the way to go. I wear colors when I am shopping now if I need to get creative! s.i.r.khalsa
Guest guest
Hey there, I am sure your dalmations are a great joy to you. I just can't imagine them on your head!.As a matter of fact I can't imagine my black doberman on my head idea.Tweed might be great for the normal pedestrian but I have not seen it in any of the Ky manuals!!! as yet!!! Made me chuckle. The indian sikhs wear plaid turbans I have noticed... My thoughts were for serious people by the way... interested in matters of yogic concern pertaining to Ky and the lifestyle, who want to learn and not react when it doesn't meet their way of living.I am assuming most of us on the post are and that noone got offended in any way by my experiences.Humans are so interesting sometimes.. To bad you can't wear your dalmations.... it would have saved you some money if you ever chose to wear headcoverings. It can be pricey if you do it right! more power to tweed however if it needs it ::) s.i.r. khalsa

Guest guest
Sat Nam, I have a question: can the head wrap be in whatever color you choose, or does it have to be white? Experiment for yourself and see how different colors feel. I can feel comfortable in light pick and light blue, but any other colors won't work for me. But almost all the time I choose white.
