Guest guest
I was wondering if anyone has any advice for me. I have a problem with one my vertabrae, C2 to be precise. It constantly slips out of place to the right side. My chiropractor thinks that it is caused by the way I have always slept, on my side. This does not give the neck sufficient support and when one gets older it can cause the vertabrae to slip. I've tried all sorts of things - different pillows ( I just bought one that molds to the shape of the neck giving support whatever way one lies). I can't seem to sleep in any other position except on my side. I'm really tired of gettting adjusted - it went right back out when I went to sleep the last time I had it done. It's bad to keep having the same area adjusted too, because it can wear away the surfaces. I'd also like to know from a spiritual point of view what this might mean. Obvoiusly it involves the fifith-throat- chakra. Any thoughts ? Avtar ______________ GET INTERNET ACCESS FROM JUNO! Juno offers FREE or PREMIUM Internet access for less! Join Juno today! Guest guest
Sat nam! Sorry to hear of your problem. Maybe try massage or Reiki? Personally I don't trust chiropractors but I hope you have a good one. Here's a couple of theories on C-2 problems for ya, for whatever they are worth!! >From Daniel Condron= Diffulty in perception. Limitation of imagination due to incomplete or vague thoughts. He suggests going to lectures or elsewhere to hear people speak on subjects that you are not informed or knowledgeable in. >From Louis Hay= Rejection of wisdom. Refusal to know or understand. Indecision. Resentment and blame. Out of balance with life. Denial of one's spirituality. She prescribes this positive affirmation: "I am one with the Universe and all of life. It is safe for me to know and to grow." Hope this helps, if not, it's interesting at least. Louis Hay always nails it on the head for me personally. Cheers! ranjit >Avtar Kaur <avtarkaur > >I'd also like to know from a spiritual point of view what this might >mean. Obvoiusly it involves the fifith-throat- chakra. Guest guest
Thanks Ranjit. Some of the Loius Hay resonated with me. I do trust my chiropractor very much, but there's not much he can do except continue to adjust. I am a massage therapist so understand that the soft tissue problem needs to be addressed, which is bieing done. But I feel there are other issues also. By the way, I am going to Master's Touch in two weeks. Is anyone else going ? Love, Avtar ______________ GET INTERNET ACCESS FROM JUNO! Juno offers FREE or PREMIUM Internet access for less!
