Guest guest Posted September 6, 2002 Report Share Posted September 6, 2002 If you perform a mathematical "prime factorisation" on 108 it becomes 1 x 2 x 2 x 3 x 3 x 3 = 108. If you write it as 1^1 x 2^2 x 3^3 (where ^ means superscript, which is not possible in plain text messages) then the pattern becomes evident.
