Sat Nam everyone,

Thank you for the helpful insights about not eating meat.

Just last night I had prepared chicken to eat and I could barely look at it. I

took one tiny taste and felt very sick.

It tasted not right like it should not be eaten. I have never had this

experience before. I could not eat any more.

I am Kapha-Pitta Prakriti and do not eat sweets, or any grains, pasta or rice.

I have felt best eating protein and vegetables. I cannot eat dairy. I give

myself B12 injections because of past anaemia problems.

Is there a way to get enough protein without dairy or meat?

I do eat protein bars and drinks that contain no sugar and I find them helpful.

Without grains, pasta, rice, etc. right now, my vegetarian diet would consist of

vegetables, protein bars and nuts.

It feels to me that I need to make this choice to further my spiritual growth, I

would never have thought so.

The better I feel the more awareness I have while eating and less cravings I

have and life feels so much better, freer and more at peace.

It feels to me my body needs to be purer when practising yoga in order for me

gain greater benefits.
