Guest guest
Thank you all for the tips on eating out vegetarian. I'll remember to brink my own snacks in the future to avoid hunger and work creatively with the restaurant offerings. I thought about ordering the meat dishes without the meat. However, when I asked, they would be happy to do so but would give no price concession. My main reason for not eating meat, especially commercially raised/processed meat, is for the animals. I did not want to reward the restaurant by paying for it. At that point, it would be irrelevant whether or not I ate it (to them at least, not for health reasons). The sale was successfully made. Then, they would order more meat for the next customer. Perhaps that was a bit fanatical. Perhaps if I would have ordered, at least the waitress and chef would know that there are vegetarians in the world. Perhaps they would then alter the menu for vegetarians in the future. A pebble in a pond makes a small wave that expands larger and larger. Thanks again, Heidi ---------- Introducing NetZero Long Distance Unlimited Long Distance only $29.95/ month!
