In the Irish language the way one addresses one's beloved, or anyone one cares for is Mo Chroí, ( mo kree) which means 'my heart.' It's a lovely way to think of other people - especially if they are getting on your nerves !!! It's hard to stay annoyed with someone you are addressing as 'my heart" !
