Guest guest
Hello everyone! Who is Baba Siri Chand? Is he a living master? The email said don't call on him unless really needed because he didn't like it. Most Masters that I'm familiar with do not inject fear, only love and kindness. Can someone enlighten me? I am a certified KY teacher currently teaching several classes. I've been advised by two chiropractors that no one should do neck rolls. Is it acceptable to substitue turning head side to side and chin to chest and then head back and still be considered a Kryia? Any thoughts on subject would be welcome. Guest guest
Baba Siri Chand was Guru Nanak's son, a great yogi who was said to be the incarnation of Lord Shiva. The use of the mantra is said to invoke a situation where a person attacking you has their karma returned to them immediately, thus ending the attack. It is said that is like an inheritance: you spend it once it is gone. However, Yogi Bhajan once had people chanting this mantra (during the last election), so who knows for sure. Myself I go with the tradition - hold on to it in case you really need it because if you use it you lose it. Yes, neck rolls can be a major problem for people. I think that doing them very gently without a lot of stress, or substituting them with head turning would work. This is the kind of thing that should be addressed in teacher training, but usually isn't. I hope more people will bring up these questions. cskyrm wrote: > Hello everyone! Who is Baba Siri Chand?
