SAT MAN, Ya'll !

This is Leo in Houston. I just started Kundalini training a couple of weeks

ago - and it ROCKS!!!! Please bear with me however while I learn to speak a

little Sanskrit. I've followed ya'lls conversations for a couple of days and

most of it is over my head - but that never stoppped me before! That's how you

learn right? Reaching higher?

I have 2 things I'd like a little input on. One, I was in hospital in Dec.

and came out of it with a HUGE bedsore on my sacrum. Not only was this

indicative of bad nursing, but also of the abuses suffered by my Root Chakra

through a variety of self abuses (sadly, self-inflicted). While the sore itself

has finally healed, that are is still extremely tender. I've pretty much

learned how to avoid irritating it during yoga workouts, but during meditation,

I seem to pull so much energy through it that it ends up hurting like hell. Any

ideas?

Number 2, is that I'm a 15 yr. survivor of HIV, and while my vitality level

has been increasing with yoga, my labs are going south for some reason. Is this

my body acclimating to new behavior? My Dr. has a medication change in mind,

but I've already decided to put it off for a month until I can see a very clear

trend in my labs. Trust me, med changes suck!

I've only been going to classes once a week. Maybe what I really need here

is more training (duh!), but finances are a major issue for me at this time..

So, anybody know some good meditations or (insert Sanskrit here) that would

be useful?

Thanks, LEO
