Guest guest
Sat Nam Shoshana, I know you don't know me - my name is Leo and I've only just joined the group The reason that I'm writing is to share my experience with you. I'm a 15 yr survivor of HIV and there is one thing above all that I credit with my long-term, healthy survival. "In a loving Universe, God is NOT out to "get you". Someone said that to me early on and it really stuck. I realized how very much energy I was expending having an adversarial relationship with my infection. Sure I take care of the medical stuff, but this MUST be a teacher in my life, or a loving God would not have sent it my way. I don't know that I've exactly become "friends" with HIV over the years, but I am open to it's lessons. Remeber that God made ENOUGH! Enough love, enough time, enough money, enough energy and enough hope for everybody in ALL situations. Sometimes that one is a little hard to swallow still. I hope this helps.
