Guest guest
Sat Nam Jena, "I can also smoke cigs like a chimney, then there is the Dr. Peppers I've been readdicted to again these past 4-5 months" --like any addiction, you aren't going to change it or your thinking overnight. Quit worrying about why you smoke after class and why you have a caffiene addiction. Keep up like many of us have done and let the KY do its work (cleanse your mind and body). Assuming you stay with it, you will notice subtle changes and you won't feel a 'need' to smoke or drink anything except maybe water. "I don't know if KY is going to help me or not." --yes, you may be an exception...:-) Don't analyze it just go to class, and practice say..15-20 minutes in the morning. You didn't just smoke one cigarette and decided you'd do it the rest of your life, you stuck with it and it became a habit?! "But I have been known to have a wonderful breathing time and when the session is all over "lite one up". This behavior baffles and confuses me and it's a part of myself I'm not real happy with." --right now you are in what I think of as the 'tweener' stage. You're mind and body are trying to integrate at new levels all of this energy, but your ego/mind still relate to what 'you' do, 'I smoke', 'I drink', 'because it feels good',...ok, go with that for a while and don't fight it. I'm betting that one day after class when you light up, your going to gag and think 'that tastes awful'!:-) Blessings Brad
