Guest guest
In Lesson 2 of the online KYTraining it says, "The point is that sometimes we need to make an all-encompassing choice that will guide our daily choices. Because there will always be pressing reasons and valid excuses to distract us from our spiritual practice." I'm a big fan of Dr. Pepper too. But, as with everything, I have to remember that this is a process, not an event. Please don't beat yourself up. I find that as I get better at focusing on my spiritual training these other things begin to slip away of their own accord. They simply don't fit in well with who I am these days. I made an all-encompassing choice to stick with it and to improve. As I improve, it becomes easier to pass on the Dr. Pepper, cocaine, ciggarettes and other self abuses I so enthusiastically persued before.
