Scoliosis

Hi,

I have a question I hope someone may be able to answer. I have

scoliosis(curvature of the spine) and although I'm not really

bothered by it, I'm wondering if there are any poses I should (or

shouldn't) be doing.

All forward-bending poses (like paschimotanasana)

stretch the spine from the lower hips ( the tailbone

).

This lengthens and straightens the spine, increasing

posture.

 

Cobra, wheel, bridge, bow, camel poses, etc flexes the

 

spine, and improves spinal alignment.

Try the above poses and get a feel of which side of

the spine needs to be worked upon more.
