Guest guest
Sat Nam Yikai! I read a whole bunch of stuff about kundalini and kundalini yoga before trying it as well. And some of it is scary and some just confusing. First, always trust your instincts. I personally have been practicing from home on my own for about 7 months now. I attended one class in the beginning, but have been doing the rest on my own. I use a combination of several ky books that I've purchased and this message board. I've used this board in lieu of a 'real' teacher. There are many people with tons of experience in ky who to this list. I can always find answers to my questions here. Some people, however, need and like the personal interaction. I think if you can find a teacher near you, you should definately attend classes. However, if there isn't one nearby, don't let that deter your efforts. Get a book and give it a try. One of the things that has helped me to feel connected, is the tuning in. So always remember to do that before beginning any session. Good luck! Christa
