Guest guest
Sat Nam Everyone! I just finished day ?? of the Divine Mother meditation. And I was just wondering if there have been similar experiences during the Mercury retrograde. Saturday and Sunday were very..challenging. I felt energy immediately, that usually builds and intensifies at the end, a swirling, pulling, effect..heaviness in my head. Saturday and Sunday were a 'battle' to keep doing pratyahar and not focus on the pain. My left (feminine)shoulder had a constant aching pain that would not dissipate--my left shoulder is more sensitive in this meditation--for me, anyway. The pain and energy has subsided this morning, but I experimented with the heart center, which is the end goal of this meditation. I learned that if you can focus on the heart center, while visualizing the Divine Mother (Shakti)and holding the mantras, then you can dissipate the pain and bring the energy down where it needs to go. The pain seems to be energy that 'pools' in the head and shoulders (if you don't open your heart center), I dont' know if I have this right or not, but it works. The only other time I thought to try focusing on the heart center, was at day 40 when the energy in my head has causing extreme sensitivity. --so I think this is a key. On the other hand if you simply follow the instructions and focus on the swirling 'vortex' it builds the energy but it stays in your head, I think sometimes the answers are found through experience, they are not always in the directions. Has anyone out there had similar experiences with meditation during the retrograde? Anyone else doing Divine Mother? Blessings yogis.. This is very significant information. > The pain seems to be energy that 'pools' in the head and shoulders > (if you don't open your heart center), I dont' know if I have this > right or not, but it works. What is right is what works. Yes. Yogi Bhajan does not give all the details. but each meditation teaches us how to do it. The instructions are revealed if we do it. Thanks.
