Guest guest
Dear yikai, Yes, Rajveer lives in Singapore and teaches Kundalini Yoga there.. All the Yogas and Religions are leading to and describing the same realization, that the individual consciousness each of us refers to as "I" when we point to the heart, is actually the all-pervasive universal consciousenss abiding singly as "I AM THAT I AM" This is the true light that lights each one of us. We call it Sat Nam, which is to say True Identity, our true name. When the mind becomes still, the seer (the part that sees and provides light and understanding to everything within our experience) begins to reflect its source in the heart, upon which there arises a Singularuty of the experience of "I", and this experience is discovered to be space-like, unconditioned, uncaused, timeless, and you find yourself abiding as This. Instead of always thinking of yourself as "I-this and "I-that" you feel grounded in a flow of the infinite. This grounding is yoga. You experience that there are not 2, a separate soul and a Universal, but only one, and you abide singly as that One without a second. All yogas are truly meant to bring about the Kundalini awareness. Kundalini is just another word for Awareness, God, Consciousess. In the Kundalini Yoga, as taught by Yogi Bhajan, the focus is to systematically bring about a charging of the bloodstream and cells of the body by combining powerful breathing techniques with postures and movements. Each posture or movement puts a pressure on certain glands, organs, systems or energy channels, that when saturated by blood that is vitalized and charged through the breathing, produces within these areas a storage of prana, or life force. Gradually, the energies begin to balance throughout the magnetic field of the body, and the mind turns inward by itself. A sense of single deepening Intelligence begins to pervade your entire being, a feeling as though you are coming out of a stupor or recollecting who you are out of a long amnesia. You feel a sense of grounding in the heart and throughout your being, in fact everywhere, and you abide as that substratum or light within the universe appears. Learn the breathing properly, the basic Long Deep Breathing and Breath of Fire (and their variations) and apply them to the sets of postures and movements provided in the KY classes. The mantras and chants and special mudras and kriyas also help to open the system. Very quickly, you will discover this change and moovement and flow towards the awakening of your True Self.
